Heart broken he was, left alone in the dark room. The only light he could see, was the light shinning from that window, that one window he remembers. The glasses were still left on the ground, shattered, untouched. As he walks closer towards the window, the memories slowly appear in his mind. As he moves closer and closer, thoughts racing through, flashes of images showing, one after the other. Blood stains were left on the sides of the window frame, as well as the shattered glasses. Then, as he stepped back, the sound of a broken glass caught his ear. He looked down, and stared in silence. It was a picture of them, him and Jade. Her smile, oh that smile of hers, how wonderful it was, how perfect it was. And those eyes, oh the eyes of diamonds they were. Not a moment that he could ever look away from them. That face, how can he ever forget that face that was carved by a thousand angels, a face that shows nothing but perfection. And yet, all that was taken from him. His only world, gone. Tears start running down his cheeks. Every sight of her , every touch he once felt, gone, as if the world does not exist around him anymore. His family, his life, none of that matters now. As he turns towards the door, as that very last tear dropped,
"How could you?"
"How could you take away the one i treasured most! The one whom you willingly gave to me! The one that made me who i am today! The one that i held dearly in my arms every morning! The very one person, that i kept close in my heart."
"You took her away from me." (tears roll down his cheeks)
"You could've taken everything else. Including myself. But you had to, you just had to make that decision!" (banging his fist against the door)
"But i guess it's useless now, being mad. I still won't get her back, will i?"
He takes one last look at the room, one last look at that window. He walked out the door, never turning back, never looking back into the past.
Years have passed, yet the room remains the same. You see, no matter how far he went, his soul will always remain in that room. He will always see that window right before his eyes. Because he can never let go, he refuses to let go.
